Updated: Jan 6

to start off, i wanted to tell y'all that im a new admin of this blog, and i will make good articles w/ my friend Pietro

today im gonna talk about Travis Scott

born as Jacques Berman Webster II, it's a rapper and producer.

Growing up listening to Kanye West and T.I, he started his career in 2010.

He has been nominated 8 times at the grammys, and he won the Latin Grammy Award.

Known also as La Flame, he went famous since 2010, and he has sold more than 45 million copies, including records and singles

Jacques was born on April 30, 1992 in Houston, raised in Missouri City. Attended Elkins High School, where he graduated at the age of 17.

He was staying with his grandmother most of the time as his mother was busy with his job at Apple Inc., and his father, who had his own business to run.

Jacques attended the University of Texas San Antonio, but dropped out shortly thereafter to focus fully on music.

Following his abandonment was the move to New York, where he began his musical career. His decision was not supported by his parents, so Jacques had to finance his stay alone

Travis started dating actress Kylie Jenner in Spring 2017. Their daughter, Stormi Webster, was born on February 1, 2018. A year later, jenner thought travis was cheating on her, so she convinced him to cancel his show in buffalo on february 28, 2019. Apparently they didn't make up, but what happened after their fight remains a mystery. The only thing we know is that they are raising their daughter Stormi in co-parenting

in 2013 he signed a contract with Grand Hustle Records, and he released two mixtapes:

Owl Pharaoh

in 2011, Travis announced that he would release a mixtape EP called Owl Pharaoh.

After working with Kanye West and T.I, he said the project would be released in the same month as Cruel Summer (collective album by GOOD music) in 2012, but this didn't come true, so Travis redid the project saying he would release it on February 22, 2013, but it didn't happened.

After his appearance in XXL's freshman class, Travis announced the decisive date saying that the record would be released on iTunes Music, but it didn't. MTV later announced that the EP would be out on May 21, 2013, but not on iTunes Music.

The first three songs were Blocka La Flame in collaboration with Popcaan, Quintana in collaboration with Wale and Upper Echelon in collaboration with 2 Chainz and T.I

my favorite song from this mixtape is ''Blocka La Flame'', a remix of pusha T's song ''Blocka''.

Days Before Rodeo

first announced on twitter in August 2014, Days Before Rodeo is Travis Scott's second mixtape, prequel to his first album '' Rodeo ''.

In the collaborations of the different songs, we find the artists: Young Thug, Big Sean, The 1975, Rich Homie Quan, Migos, T.I and Peewee Longway.

The first song was '' Don't Play '' in collaboration with Big Sean and The 1975; it was produced by Travis himself, along with other producers Vinylz and Allen Ritter.

My favorite song from this album is ''Drugs You Should Try it'', its a song where Travis is talking about the effects of the drugs he tried, while he was in love with a girl he was with.

Travis said that this project its a free album. Eric Diep from XXL commented on the mixtape, and said that Travis has beutiful rap styles that are similiar to Kanye West and T.I

after these mixtapes, he released 2 albums:

the artist's first album, released on September 4, 2015 by Epic Records and Grand Hustle Records. Among the different songs we see Quavo, Young Thug, Schoolboy Q, Future, 2 Chainz, Justin Bieber, Juicy J, Swae Lee, Chief Keef, Kanye West and Toro y Moi appear.

the most notable singles on this album are Antidote and 3500.

My favorite song from this album is ''Pornography'', where he talks about Kid Cudi's Man On The Moon: The End Of The Day.. Travis is a self confessed Cudi ''stan''(stan was a huge fan of Eminem, and Travis uses stan as an example to mean he is a fan of Kid Cudi).

Antidote became the best debut single on the charts, ranking the first place on the US Billboard Hot 100 (2015); the album entered the US Billboard Top 200 and was in third place. In May 2017, it was certified platinum by the RIAA. After this event, the album sold more than 1 million copies overall

Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight

released on 2 September 2016 by Grand Hustle Records and Epic Records, it is the artist's second album. the guests in this project are Andrè 3000, Black Youngsta, Kid Cudi, NAV, 21 Savage, Kendrick Lamar, Bryson Tiller, Young Thug, Quavo, K Forest and The Weeknd.

The most important songs on the album are Goosebumps in collaboration with Kendrick Lamar, Pick Up The Phone in collaboration with Young Thug and Quavo, Wonderful in collaboration with The Weeknd. the album was # 1 on the US Billboard top 200, selling 88,000 copies in its first week.

My favorite song from this album is ''Through The Late Night'', where Travis (in his verse) is talking about Kid Cudi's 2008 song ''Day 'n' Nite''.

January 4, 2016 is the day Travis first announced the project, revealing its title.

Prior to release, Travis and Thugger (Young Thug) released the full version of Pick Up The Phone on Snapchat, but removed it shortly after, as it was also released on SoundCloud.

On July 18, 2016 Travis revealed that Kid Cudi is his biggest musical influence, and that he would be featured on the album.

having mostly positive reviews, the album was ranked 38th in the Top 50 Albums Of 2016.

He got the first places in the US charts mainly thanks to the singles Antidote, Goosebumps and Pick Up The Phone.

after his first albums, he has subsequently released another three albums:

Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho

released by Grand Hustle Records, Cactus Jack Records, Capitol Records, Motown and Quality Control on December 21, 2017, it is the artist's first album in collaboration. the album's artist are Travis Scott and Quavo.

the host is the Migos group, the main producer is Murda Beatz.

The first announcement of the project was a year before release, Quavo announced the collaboration with Wav Radio.

my favorite song for this album is ''Motorcycle Patches'', where he's talking sport's brands.

The thing that struck me about this album is that Quavo and Travis have been promoting the project by making fun of it on twitter throughout 2017.

the day before the release, a promotional poster was seen in NYC.

The album hit the top spots on the Billboard Top 200 and sold 154,000 copies in its first week

released on 3 August 2018 by Cactus Jack Records and Grand Hustle Records, it is the artist's third album. the guests of this project are Kid Cudi, Frank Ocean, Drake, The Weeknd, James Blake, Philip Bailey, 21 Savage, Swae Lee, Gunna, NAV, Quavo, Takeoff, Juice WRLD, Sheck Wes and Don Toliver.

It was first announced in 2016, and the expected release date was in 2017, but Travis was behind as he was finishing recording the tracks with some of the artists featured on the album.

The title of the project is taken from the Houston Six Flags Astroworld playground, which closed in 2005 due to the need to build new apartments in the area.

The most important tracks of the album are Butterfly Effect, Sicko Mode in collaboration with Drake, Yosemite in collaboration with Gunna and NAV, Wake Up in collaboration with The Weeknd.

My favorite song from this album is ''BUTTERFLY EFFECT'', where he's talking how the small things can cause big consequences. he was talking also about his lamborghini with butterfly doors.

The album made it to the top of the Billboard Top 200 and overall sold more than half a million copies.

It also ranked in the 50 Best Albums of 2018.

Is an album recorded between 2016 and 2018. Travis has completed the last recordings in Hawaii.

The album cover was shot by David LaChapelle, the huge golden inflatable balloon in the shape of Travis' head, and was placed at the entrance of Six Flags Astroworld.

released by Cactus Jack Records and Epic Records on December 27, 2019, it's the second album in collaboration.

JackBoys are a musical collective group founded by Travis himself, and is made up of 5 members: Travis, Don Toliver, Sheck Wes, Luxury Tax, and Chase B (an American DJ), but in the album we can see also Rosalía, Lil Baby, Quavo, Offset, Young Thug and Pop Smoke.

My favorite song from this album is ''GANG GANG'', where the jackboys are talking about the loyalty they have to each other.

The album sold 154,000 copies in its first week, and was # 1 on the US Billboard Top 200.

in the second week it dropped to fourth place.

All tracks on the album made it to the US Billboard Hot 100, except the track ''JACKBOYS''

is the fourth project of the artist. it was first announced on August 3, 2020, where for Astroworld's second anniversary he lightly teased the title of his new album on twitter, said by himself. Young Thug and Future may appear on the album, based on what Travis announced.

On October 5, 2020 Travis confirmed the album through social media.

On October 16, 2020 Travis sent a letter written by him to countless disc jockeys, thanking them for their support, and one of the sentences he wrote struck me and all his fans: ''Thank you again! For all the support, and see you guys in 2021 in UTOPIA!''

On December 10, 2020 it was reported that Travis was working in Mexico with Don Toliver. Rumors say that Future and Roddy Ricch may have been working with Travis during that time.

The only tracks we know will be featured in this project will be '' franchise '' with Young Thug and MIA, and ''Highest In The Room''.
